New Training Route for Lopers 2009-2010 Marathon Clinic in Loma Linda

The Lopers Club has changed the Clinic Training Route in Loma Linda for the 2009-2010 season. The changes are to make better use of suitable roads, paths and neighborhoods in Loma Linda, avoid traffic on Barton Road and San Timoteo Canyon road and future construction sites, and provide a better route for longer distances. For distances up to 15 miles the route is a simple out-and-back along the streets of Loma Linda to the path by the wash to the "bell" at San Timoteo Canyon Road and West Fern and back. For 18-22 miles the consists of two loops.  It starts the same way as the 15 mile route, but continues out past the 7.5 mile turn-around to the dirt road by the tracks along San Timoteo Canyon Road and turns around at the gate, then goes back along the path past where you entered the path. There, you continue on the path, until the turn-around (for 22 miles you need to turn on Anderson when the path ends), then you go back to where you entered the path, and then back to Drayson Center along the usual route.

Please contact us if you have any comments or suggestions about the route.
